how to bake plain cocoa cupcakes with caramel toppings.

Hey everyone! this is Minahil and Sarah with our first recipe! hope you love and enjoy!
Plain Cocoa Cupcakes:
6-8 cakes
ingredients:
flour                                   2 1/2 cups
coco powder                     1 cup
sugar                                 1 1/2 cups
baking power                     1 1/2 teaspoon
salt                                    1/2 teaspoon
eggs                                   2
vegetable oil                       1/3 cup
milk                                    1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Take a medium sized bowl.
  2. put the flour, coco powder, sugar, eggs , vegetable oil and milk in. then mix until smooth with no bubbles. (for 10 minutes). 
  3. When done, add the baking powder and the salt. Stir thoroughly, remember no bubbles should be left behind. then put your mixture in the baking dish. put in the oven at 120 -150 degrees. for 20-30 minutes.(keep checking if ready. : to check correctly , dig a clean toothpick in one of the cakes and see if any bits are left on the toothpick when pulled out. if yes. they are not ready. if no. pull them out.)
  4. they will look like this (I hope! lol!)

Out Of The Oven
Simple caramel(hard):
(optional for topping)

ingredients:
sugar 1 kg pack     3

Method:

  1. Put all of the sugar in a frying pan.
  2. Stir constantly so it doesn't stick down and burn.
  3. when its soft and complete liquid pour out on a flattened steel tray.(the plastic and glass may break)
  4. wait for it to dry.
  5.  when hardened and dry use a knife to crack it and take it out. its still big peices so spread on a clean cloth wrap the cloth on it and hold the tips . Hit it with a heavy thing so its crumbled inside.
take it out and sprinkle on top of the cakes.
